Un total de 840 familias de la zona rural de Mazatlán fueron beneficiadas con la entrega de apoyos extraordinarios por parte del Presidente Municipal, Carlos Felton González, como parte de las acciones de mejoramiento en la calidad de vida y el desarrollo humano de los ciudadanos.
“Si bien este apoyo no resuelve el problema, forma parte de las acciones sociales que como Gobierno y comunidad debemos realizar para aportar al desarrollo de nuestras familias, que no haya mazatlecos sin techo ni sin comida”, comentó.
Los habitantes de Lomas de Monterrey, El Vainillo, La Tuna, San Francisquito, Escamillas, El Castillo, Habalito del Tubo, El Zapote, Isla de la Piedra y Urías, recibieron colchonetas, despensas, kits de limpieza, kits de aseo personal, agua embotellada y atados de lámina para sus hogares.
Durante las entregas el Alcalde Carlos Felton reafirmó su compromiso de realizar acciones que aporten a la promoción de valores y al crecimiento de Mazatlán a través del desarrollo de los ciudadanos.
“Queremos que el día de mañana nos recuerden, no por haber pavimentado muchas calles, sino por las acciones que realizamos para recuperar el núcleo de nuestra sociedad, las familias”, agregó.
